I am very happy to share the work I did on the newest Overwatch 2 map - Runasapi! This map was such a blast to work on and is by far the most work I've done in a map since joining the team so I am super super excited its out for everyone to play in!
I was responsible for a lot of the general building architecture throughout the map, including the general side buildings, restaurant passthrough building, museum exterior and interior, residential building, background filler buildings, and base general interior kit. With that, I was able to create some materials used around including some of the plaster color variations and some decals. I also helped finalize architecture throughout the map that was handed off from outsource groups and previous team members, including the large archway and the buildings next to it (artifact display building), the large waterwheel, and the market interior kit. I also did a lot of set dressing and look swaps for props around the map. In addition to all of the visual work, there was of course a ton of behind-the-scenes work I did with the team on optimization and bugfixing.
I want to give a HUGE thanks to the amazing team I worked on this map with, with a special thanks to Daniel McGowan, Marie Lazar, Mike Hardison, Peter Lee, Serina Mo, Konstantin Loffler, Shu Fujita, Enya Oreshkin, Julia Nguyen, Kyle Tallant, Trey Spisak, and all of our outsource partners. This was a huge team effort and I am very thankful to the whole team at Blizzard and beyond for making this beautiful map possible!
